The New Paltz Golf Course,  open to the public, is a superb nine-hole course. With total yardage at 3460 from the blue tees, it presents a challenge for even the finest player, while shorter yardage from the white and the ladies' tees make the course a pleasurable golfing experience for all who play and enjoy the game. Set against a backdrop of the noble Shawangunk Mountains, with its fifth fairway bordering the Wallkill River, the New Paltz Golf Course is as scenic as it is playable.Pro Shop Professional Larry Furey carries a fine selection of clubs and golfing accessories in his shop. Larry also gives private lessons at a half hour or a full hour; they are reasonably priced, and there is no finer teacher of the game in the Hudson Valley. Practice Facilities New Paltz Golf Course has a practice facility that is maintained with same attention to detail that is given the golf course. We offer two putting greens and a driving range on the course property. Warm-up before your next round or meet our professionals  at the range for your next lesson.Locust Tree Restaurant The restaurant is open for lunch Monday, Wednesday through Saturday and Sunday Brunch at 11:30AM . Dinner is served Wednesday through Saturday until 10PM and Sunday, Monday until 9PM . The restaurant is closed on Tuesday. Visa/Mastercard, Discover and Amex credit cards are accepted. Dinner appetizers range from $6-$9 and entrees range from $14-$24. Brunch is $15 Prix Fixe including one complimentary glass of juice, lemonade, basket of muffins, coffee and tea. |
